Packaging

By 2025 our own brand packaging will be fully recyclable or compostable and contain sustainable paper and board.

We are removing non-recyclable material from own brand packaging which includes PVC, Polystyrene and black plastics to ensure all packaging can be recycled.

Ice Valley water bottles now contain 25% recycled plastic and are fully recyclable, in one week the production of these bottles saves 9 tonnes of virgin plastic or circa 450t a year.

We offer catering customers a range of environmentally friendly food boxes, including ten home compostable lines, compostable cutlery, straws and stirrers across around 60 product lines. Canned water is available as an alternative to plastic bottled water. Our Chefs Larder range of herbs and spices are in a bottle made from 100% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable. In 2019 we launched a fully renewable, recyclable, bio-degradable and compostable coffee cup.
